Gimbal Expansion Joints has a universal ring with two pairs of mutually perpendicular hinge structures around it, so it can absorb angular displacement in any plane.It is used in the powder delivery pipeline of the power plant boiler to absorb the downward thermal expansion of the boiler furnace, the lateral expansion of the furnace and the thermal displacement of the powder delivery pipeline.

When the gimbal expansion joints absorbs displacement, two or three should be used in combination.The gimbal expansion joints can absorb displacement in any direction, and absorb axial displacement X and lateral displacement Y at the same time, which should meet X≤XO,Y≤YO. The axial compensation amount listed in the parameter table is compression displacement, which is used to compensate for the angular displacement in any plane of the pipeline. It is generally installed on the horizontal or vertical powder delivery pipeline at the inlet of the burner. Specification series DN200~DN600, specifications outside the series can be customized.
